No Bail Reduction For Accused Drunk Driver
LAS VEGAS — Despite pleas to have her bail reduced, a judge denied to lower the $500,000 amount set for a woman accused of driving drunk and killing a Las Vegas man.
Miranda Dalton, 29, was arrested in April after her Jeep Cherokee slammed into the back of a car driven by 28-year-old Paul Maidman.
Maidman died later at University Medical Center.
Dalton was charged with drunken driving and agreed to plead guilty. She is due to be sentenced August 16.
She failed in a similar attempt to have her bail lowered last month.
